Balarat Council

The Balarat Council is a citizens' advisory group, established in 1969, whose mission is to advocate for and provide support to the programs of the Balarat Outdoor Education Center. We are a non-profit support group which is dedicated to helping the Denver Public Schools and the Balarat Staff bring the best possible outdoor education experience to the students of Denver.

We would like you to consider joining us. We welcome new thoughts and ideas in our continuing effort to support Balarat. Members will receive their own copies of the newsletter and will be invited to partake in our meetings and be given advanced notice of upcoming events. If you don't have time for the Council, you can be an informative link: Tell someone about us, let teachers know of the opportunities available to their classes, inform high school students about the ways in which they can earn credit, volunteer for the WEBS excursions, or purchase:

• T- shirts with the Balarat logo on the front and a catchy design on the back.$10.00
• Baseball caps with the Balarat insignia, embroidered on the front. $10.00

Net proceeds go towards educational program needs.
