Members of the community now have a new way to make a lasting impact on ensuring access to outdoor education opportunities for future generations of Denver students. For over five decades, Balarat Outdoor Education has served DPS students and teachers, providing students with learning opportunities in Colorado’s outdoor environments. Balarat programs foster the growth of the whole child and strengthen classroom connections through experiences that link learners to the natural world. In celebration of the 55th year of the program, the Balarat Outdoor Education Legacy Fund has been established with the goal of protecting the perpetuity of this vital program.
